28.01 It is almost trite to observe that the seller is subject to numerous obligations in a sales contract. These obligations may be self-imposed—that is, agreed to under the contract or subsidiarily imposed upon the seller by operation of law. 28.02 As a starting point, all jurisdictions recognize an obligation on the seller to deliver the goods to the buyer.
