This Regulation shall not prejudice the application of provisions of Community law which, in relation to particular matters, lay down conflict-of-law rules relating to non-contractual obligations. 16.01 Art 27 of the Rome II Regulation, which specifically concerns its relationship with other provisions of EC law regulating the law applicable to noncontractual obligations, must be read together with Recital (35).
