This chapter looks into documents and costs. The respective characteristic obligations under a sales contract include the procurement of licenses and documents and the payment of certain costs and expenses. Documents can be classified into three broadly defined categories: goods, the right to claim physical possession and contract which do not affect title or possession. These documents could be used by the seller as evidence of conformity of the goods at the time of delivery. Moreover, the chapter tackles the contractual terms and default rules of handling licenses, transportation, and insurance.
