5.01 Section 20(1)(a) of the Senior Courts Act (SCA) 1981 provides for the Admiralty Court to have jurisdiction to hear and determine any of the 18 ‘questions and claims’ listed in subs (2). That list reflects, with some additions, the list of maritime claims contained in art 1(1) of the Arrest Convention.
