This chapter focuses on Chapter IV of the Hague Judgments Convention, which is also known as the chapter of Final Clauses. The provisions set out the rules applicable to the Convention as a treaty. Article 24 addresses how States may sign, ratify, accept, approve, or accede to the Convention, while Article 25 allows States with two or more territorial units to tailor the application of the Convention with respect to those units. Moreover, Articles 26 and 27 contain rules applicable to any Regional Economic Integration Organization (REIO). The chapter cites the provisions and features within the Convention’s Articles 28–32.
